Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Daily Solve ("the Service") at daily-solve.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. Accounts

To access most features of the Service, you must register for an account. You may sign up using an email address and password, or via Google OAuth. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@daily-solve.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You may not create more than one account per person. Duplicate accounts created to gain an unfair advantage on the leaderboard may be removed without notice.

4. The Daily Quiz

Each day, a new set of quiz questions is published at midnight UTC. All registered users receive the same questions on the same day. Each user is permitted one attempt per day. Once a quiz is submitted, answers are final and cannot be changed.

Scores are calculated based on the number of correct answers and the speed at which each question was answered. A time bonus is applied to correct answers answered quickly. A perfect score bonus is awarded if all questions in a set are answered correctly.

Monthly totals accumulate across all daily attempts within a calendar month (UTC). At the end of each month, the top-scoring user is archived as the monthly winner.

5. Fair Play

Daily Solve is built on fair competition. You agree that you will not:

• Use automated scripts, bots, browser extensions, or any other tool to submit answers or artificially inflate your score.
• Share quiz questions or answers with other users before the daily reset, in a way intended to give others an unfair advantage.
• Attempt to manipulate, tamper with, or reverse-engineer the scoring system or leaderboard.
• Create multiple accounts or use another person's account to improve your standing.
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the Service. If you discover a bug that affects scores or the leaderboard, please report it to us rather than exploiting it.

We reserve the right to investigate suspicious activity and to disqualify, remove scores from, or permanently ban any account found to be in violation of these fair play rules.

6. Streaks & Achievements

Daily streaks are tracked in UTC time. A streak is maintained by completing at least one quiz attempt per calendar day (UTC). Missing a day will reset your current streak to zero. We are not responsible for streak resets caused by missed days, scheduled maintenance, or technical issues outside our control.

Achievements are awarded automatically based on your activity. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove achievements at any time. Achievements hold no monetary value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its servers, or any data not belonging to you.
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the Service.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users in any way.
• Use the Service to collect data about other users without their consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Daily Solve — including quiz questions, explanations, graphics, logos, the name "Daily Solve", and the design and layout of the Service — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any content from the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control such as outages at third-party providers.

We will endeavour to provide advance notice of scheduled downtime where possible. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by Service unavailability, including the loss of a daily streak.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that quiz questions are error-free, complete, or up to date. If you believe a question or answer is incorrect, please contact us and we will review it.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Daily Solve and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of streaks, or loss of access — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of $10 AUD or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (if any).

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to other users or the integrity of the Service.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@daily-solve.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
